Brine

What To Do

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup Backyard Soda Co Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Kosher salt

Combine all ingredients in large bowl with whisk. Place meat into brine and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours. Rinse and dry meat and cook as desired.

Vinaigrette

What To Do

  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp champagne vinegar
  • 1 tsp Backyard Soda Co Syrup
  • Salt, pepper, and herbs to taste

Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

Backyard Frosting

What To Do

4 oz Backyard Soda Co. Syrup
¼ cup butter (softened)
¼ cup Cream Cheese (softened)
1 lb Powdered Sugar
In a mixing bowl, combine syrup, cream cheese and butter with a hand mixer.
Slowly add powdered sugar. Let sit in refrigerator for 2 hours to set nicely.
Spread over your favorite baked treats and enjoy!

Sorbet

What To Do

  • 1 cup Backyard Soda Co Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp Lime or Lemon Zest (optional)

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate until well chilled (about an hour). Transfer to a plastic or earthenware dish and place in freezer or about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.

Break into chunks and puree in blender or food processor. Serve immediately or refreeze.
